Fashion Q&A is a socially responsible publication which is actively involved in providing support,
help and commitment to the communities in which it works.  We focus our support on key social
issues where we can make the greatest possible difference, using our expertise, our resources,
and the time and skills of our editors, writers and contributors.
In addition, Fashion Q&A is committed                                 to encouraging and supporting the
charitable activities of its staff who                                       devote their time and resources to
helping good causes.  This is part                                        of our responsibility as a good
corporate citizen, as an employer,                                      and as a publication that believes in
initiative and partnership.

In March, I attended the Class trade                                     show in Santa Monica, California
and I was completely inspired by the                                     numerous designers who had an
environmental conscience, which                                          they expressed through their
eco-friendly collections. After doing                                       some research on the green
movement I am convinced the fashion industry as a collective group has the power to make a
difference on this earth. Earth Day will be taking place this month on April 22nd and Fashion
Q&A is dedicating our entire April issue to "Think Green Designers".

Fashion not only impacts our lifestyles, it affects the environment. Many consumers fail to
realize that the clothes we wear often times are made from harsh chemicals and
non-biodegradable materials. Thankfully there are designers paving the way by demonstrating
that the use of natural dyes, linen, hemp, organic wool, organic cotton and other sustainable
products can be high-fashion and this issue features lines like M the Movement, Uluru,
Re:Volve, Harricana and more who are making a difference one stitch at a time.
