Summer in London is not without rain, but last night the showers gave way to a warm breeze for the kick-off of the Emporio Armani Summer Garden Live series. In association with SONY,
the event was held in a hidden garden tucked behind the Emporio Armani New Bond Street store in London. With a lush atmosphere guests were treated to a green oasis and an intimate
evening of performances by emerging artist Oh Land ('Son of a Gun'), folk rock band Lissie ('When I'm a Alone'), a DJ set by Chew Lips and Aloe Blacc, who stole the show with his chart
topper 'I Need A Dollar'.
The noteworthy crowd included photographer/director Ellen von Unwerth, model Petra Nemcova, Princess Tatiana Blatnik of Greece and Denmark, model Ana Araujo, DJ Yasmin, model
Leomie Anderson, sister design duo Daniela and Annette of Felder Felder, Amy Molyneaux co-designer of PPQ, and model Stephanie Rad, who enjoyed bespoke cocktails by Ciroc
vodka, Peroni and Isklar water.
All bands, DJ’s and special guests to be announced: June 30 – Atlantic Records / July 7 – Polydor Music / July 14 – Island Records
