Move over Dean and Dan Caten there’s a new squared duo emerging and that would be GSquared for Giorgio and Gaga of course! If you remember,
Giorgio Armani began collaborating with Lady Gaga for the 2010 Grammy Awards ceremony and the pair have been inseparable in the designer room
ever since. Armani has announced that during Lady Gaga's Monster Ball global tour starting in February 2011 the star will wear a series of outfits
specially created for her by the famed Italian designer.
“Seeing an actual performance by Lady Gaga in person must be a unique experience. I imagine that her energy, eccentricity and her extraordinary
interpretative talent come over at their very best in a live context," says Armani. "I am absolutely delighted to have contributed both clothes and accessories
to these appearances – it has been a stimulating and enjoyable challenge.”
Her wardrobe will include a structured body with pronounced shoulders, totally embroidered with diamanté, a multi-coloured body in diamanté with
ribbon-work creating a lobster-inspired effect on the front and sleeves, a mini dress cut geometrically with a mirror finish, and a long trench in black patent
leather. All her looks will be complemented by special accessories – shoes and eyewear – also designed by Armani.
